Mercedes-Benz 9G-Tronic TCU Repair
- P073E00 – Reverse gear does not engage.
- P07B700 – The pressure sensor signal is invalid.
- Transmission will jerk once temperature is reached.
- The selector position automatically shifts from D to N.
- Other faults on request.
The fault typically occurs after the gearbox has significantly heated up. For instance, when the car comes to a complete stop, such as when approaching a crossroad, the gearbox automatically shifts from "D" (Drive) to "N" (Neutral).
Upon the first use of the selector, the "D" position does not engage. It only succeeds after several attempts with the selector to engage "D". However, it does not shift to D1 but to D3 instead, indicating that the car is currently in 3rd gear.
Occasionally, there are also issues with engaging the reverse gear.
- The selector position automatically shifts from D to N.
- There is a failure to select D.
